Install steam skins3/14/2024 ![]() ![]() Once Steam has been restarted it will revert to the default theme. If you'd like to uninstall a skin, return to your skins directory and delete the folder for the skin you made when installing it. Extract and drop them into your Steam skins folder in your Steam directory: C:Program FilesSteamSkins. You will need to restart Steam for the skin to work once you've selected it. Recommend using a size of 64x32 (unless of course you purchased the Premium with which it is possible to install HD skins, i.e. Click 'Upload skin' you can choose the skin file from your computer. Once you've installed the files into their own folder within the skins directory you'll need to select the skin from the Steam interface settings. After registration, you will be in your profile where you can not only install the skin, but and cape (only for Premium users).
